Complimentary Initial Exam
At your first visit to our office, Dr. Wilcoxon will examine your teeth and provide a preliminary evaluation of your orthodontic needs, including possible treatment options. There is no fee for this appointment.
At a subsequent appointment, we will take diagnostic records, which typically include plaster study models of your teeth, photos of your face and teeth, and X-rays. This information is used to develop a custom treatment plan for you. These records are also helpful in tracking the progress of treatment as your teeth move under orthodontic care.
After the doctor has evaluated your records, we discuss your treatment with you in detail, including the cost for your particular case.
Patients in orthodontic treatment are usually seen at regular intervals of 4 to 6 weeks for adjustments, which typically take 20 to 30 minutes. Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you will not be able to keep an appointment, we would appreciate 24 hours’ notice, if possible.
